MLP Season 1 Episode 11-14
Episode 11- Twilight is adorkable. Also funny thing is Winter Wrap up was my favorite song during Season 1 till the finale. Also very early foreshadowing for Alicorn Twilight. (I know, it was never thought about during season 1 but, still.) Don’t worry Twi you’ll get a pair soon. It’s funny how Twilly makes a bird house exactly how birds make their nest. Oh and ponies are dicks! (though that’s nothing new) They left spike on an ice chunk that is melting and laugh about how he’ll fall in and get a cold.
Episode 12- the ass episode… Bonbon is a blackmailer, and Rainbow push a black cloud off screen which probably caused another pony problems. Also Rainbow looked so dejected when Applebloom left with Pinkie. LOL! Never judge a cupcake by it’s appearance. Also really good moral.
Episode 13- The only episode where Applejack seems to show an ego. WAIT! Applejack loses in an hoof wrestling? I get her rear legs are power houses but, not her front hooves? Eat the butterfly! DO IT! Missile Rainbow ready! FIRE! Not much except a lot of memes came from this episode.
Episode 14- and you wonder why that cat hates you sometimes Rarity. I noticed that the song seems a little choppy, maybe it’s the version I’m watching but, there was some really jar and forced lines. Also still think those dress are fucking gorgeous and them just brushing off is just rude. (but, that’s the point to the episode.) I would love to get a dress like their’s. The 2nd version of the song is better. Oh hi Vinyl. lol. Remember when she was a background no pony? This really is Rarity redeeming episode. Also CATS! LOL! Freaky knowledge of sewing.
Verdict: Well most of the things I say are just repeating the episodes, but this run is where we start diving into music and although it is amateur compared to season 3 they still are good songs. Also my weakness is starting to show and that is when embarrassing and stupid situations pop up I tend to try and look away. Though that only happened with episode 11 where Twilight uses magic to help. (I’m going to try and focus when they happen but, it’s going to be hard.)
Note: I going back to work tomorrow so episodes might just come out in singles or not at all, but I am still determined to go through them all!
MLP Season 1 Episode 5-10
Episode 5- honestly this is the least like episode that I hear but, it still is a good episode. The monologue Pinkie has to herself about how she might be jealous is something I think some Bronies should go over. Also Spike takes the cake in this episode for me. (Literary as well too. ^-^) Oh and also big squeal for when Fluttershy says “I’m a year older than you.”
Episode 6- honestly this was just a Spike episode with Twilight in it. No serious, Spike is in almost every shot. This is more about try to show your friends that they might be hiding something special about them. (then again that is the moral)
Episode 7- Angel the little brat with a big heart. (He is such a little brat) Very commando-y mission episode. This has a scene which is the reason I checked out MLP (http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/teamt/cr/5-second-character-analysis/29644-pinkie-pie) and it’s because of Rainbow’s reaction to the ‘Invitation’. Also I’m surprised that one scene of Twilight nuzzling Applejack didn’t ship them sooner. Fluttershy is still awsome.
Episode 8- Does anyone remeber that pic with Derpy and the twig? “oh twig no one understands our love.” Twilight really steals this episode with her innocence. Rarity was fun to listen to. Sadly I just really didn’t pay attention to Applejack. I really do feel kinda bad that I pay less attention to Applejack but, maybe that will change in later episodes. Oh something I noticed is that the song in the background when Applejack is trying to remove the tree from the house is Discord song before Discord.
Episode 9- I just now noticed that Spike tried to steal food while the others freaked out about Zecora at the start. LOL Twilight Flopple. Spike you so awesome. Jazzshy is best Fluttershy. I think this was answered a long time ago but, I wonder if what Zecora is saying is African?
Episode 10- Freaking bugs! The Bonbon watering scene, it really just reminds me of Friendship is Witchcraft. (very random scene) ^-^ Also let me say this, I really hate Flying bugs and the Parasprites look like bugs. REALLY BIG BUGS. *shivers* Having anything that big and making that buzzing noise would put my paranoia/anger of flying insects to unbelievable amounts that I just might have a heart attack. Even if they sound cute. Twilight those dress aren’t dresses their saddles and adding reins is kind getting into weird territories. Also Rainbow is cute in dress and big… wig thing. OKAY NEVERMIND, they don’t make cute noises they make screeching nightmare noises! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! Again background music is awesome. Twilight’s flashback sounds like they are eating Celestia. LOL Fluttershy no does high fives. And the moral doesn’t make sense… unless you take it from an autistic side, then maybe it does… huh… well that’s something I’ve never heard brought up.
Verdict: A lot of nostalgia’s coming to me but, I really do enjoy these later episodes. Even though it sounds like I’m complaining in episode 10 I really do like it. The flow is nice and it’s just funny with all the random stuff Pinkie does. This really has been a very lightening experience since as of late stuff has just bogged me down and made me feel worse. I hope to find more entertainment in the next 5 episodes tomorrow, or more depending on my mood.
MLP Season 1 Episode 1-4 Complete
Well Tumblr is for blogging about stuff so I’ll be blogging about my Marathon.
So episode 1-2 still good but still really cheesy. This time while watching I watched anyone who wasn’t talking like Spike or Twilight. There’s very subtle animations but, they still keep the flow of the story and are worth a look at.
Episode 3 again I tried looking at things that I didn’t look at, though a lot focused on the characters themselves. Rarity’s high voice is just so funny to listen to. “How could you?!” lol
Episode 4 I was a little bit zoning out but, then I started to listen to the background music. Wow that is some really nice music in the background and really sets the tone. Also “whooooo, whoooo!”
Verdict: I still love this show the animation makes me smile, the characters are fun to watch, and there is so much that you miss with only 1 or 2 looks. Tomorrow I start 5-? and give a report I my thoughts about it. Until then thanks for reading! ^-^
